At Dutton Property Management we prefer adding value over finding ready to let out discounted property, here is why;

• We can finish the property to a good standard, increasing rental desirability, decreasing ongoing maintenance costs and achieving greater monthly rental (this one is being marketed for £50 higher rental pcm, Result!).

• We don't have to rely on always finding motivated vendors (although we did in this particular case), sometimes just completing a good refurbishment can be enough.

• We are giving back to the local community by created a good standard of comfortable accommodation.

• It's easier to illustrate the added value when it comes to refinancing the property and recycling our investment funds.

• We are able to meet our strategic goals of buying in strong rental demand areas, buying for cash flow and investing for the long term (buy and hold).
